Description Chris Chabot 2002-03-07 10:44:07 UTC
The Mixer applet still using an very old loud-speaker icon, much better
icons are currently available in the gnome stock icons, and would look _so_
much better on my panel ;-)

Which stock icons? Moving to an enhancement.
Comment 2 Chris Chabot 2002-03-07 14:50:04 UTC
A good posible candidates to me would seem
/usr/share/pixmaps/gnome-grecord.png (alias:
/usr/share/pixmaps/sound-capplet.png) (maybe without music notes?)

or the loud-speaker part from:
http://primates.ximian.com/~tigert/new_stock_project/icons/stock_volume.png

I'm sure if you ask tigert, he could modify it to your needs. if not i
could also apply my meager gfx editing skills to the problem.
Comment 3 Gediminas Paulauskas 2002-03-07 21:17:07 UTC
none of these icons represent muted-silent-normal-loud-extreme states
of the mixer, which is a very good visual indicator of volume

colours could be adjusted and icons antialiased, but IMHO appearance
is very good.
