Description Joachim Breitner 2014-10-06 11:54:27 UTC
In „fit-to-page“ mode, Ctrl-Home does not jump to the first page. Once I zoom in a bit (which makes the scroll bar appear and Home and End do something), Ctrl-Home does jump to the first page.

I’d expect it to do it in both cases.

Just came to submit the same bug, and am dismayed that this has been broken as long as it has (at least 2-3 Fedora versions, don't know which Evince version broke this but it used to work).

This isn't merely cosmetic if you don't understand the "change to 100% zoom" workaround. Many documents number their pages starting with "i" or the like, so there is no uniform keyboard interface to "go to the beginning".

Probably an overlook when the UI was migrated. It should be trivial to fix.

Fixed in master and gnome-3-16
