2.8.14 on left, 2.8.14 with dll from 2.8.10 on right

Yet another 2.8.14 UI bug. The bevel round the selected colour box has gone missing. Plus there is a shaded box under tab labels/text (see attachment)

This bug is present in the latest stable bugfix release (2014-09-02), using Win7 64.

The bug is in libcairo-2.dll (proven by replacing with the dll from 2.18.10)

Attachment shows 2.8.14 on left, 2.8.14 with dll from 2.8.10 on right

I don't think it's a bug.

Have a closer look. The window style of both color window elements seems to be flat instead of having a 3d border. So it's only a change in window style.

There is an updated installer with a new libcairo. Please test it
and report back.
Comment 3 John Power 2014-09-09 23:21:14 UTC
Where? The gimp site is still listing the 2014-09-02 release
Comment 4 John Power 2014-09-19 22:00:40 UTC
Anyone? Can't test it if I can't find it.
Comment 5 Michael Schumacher 2014-09-22 13:48:44 UTC
This still happens with the updated installer.
Comment 6 John Power 2016-07-23 21:44:05 UTC
This is fixed for me. Dunno when it vanished, but the bug no longer exists on my system.
Comment 7 Michael Natterer 2016-08-03 22:08:09 UTC
Thanks, let's call it FIXED for unknown reasons :)
