Description Thomas Thurman 2014-07-01 18:45:28 UTC
I am trying to render video files with pitivi. The files are created, but totem and vlc cannot play them, and youtube says they are corrupt if I upload them.

The project I am working with is currently at http://thomasthurman.org/temp/gr26.xges_tar . I have most recently attempted to render this to Matroska with x264enc video encoding and aac audio encoding, and I can upload the unplayable 25Mb .mkv file which resulted if anyone wants to see it.

(As discussed on #pitivi earlier.)

I can't access the url. Can you upload it to a cloud service?
Please supply source data, xges files and the corrupted rendered files.
Comment 2 Thomas Thurman 2014-07-07 09:15:56 UTC
Oh, sorry-- I raised this bug because someone on IRC asked me to, and that person also found the problem. So I assumed they'd close the bug and forgot about it.

The problem was that pitivi had marked one of the clips as having a length of zero. Apparently this is a known bug.

-> RESOLVED INVALID
