"make check" fails most of the tests

Please run make check from git check out rather than a tar ball. We are not shipping the samples required for the tests for size reasons.
Jean, I am not sure that it makes sense to save the auto-completion setting in files. The test should probably ignore those differences.
Jean: The valgrind failure appears to be a lack of debug info for the cairo library. Without debug info, our suppressions won't work.
We now ignore the auto-completion setting. This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.
