GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 732134
consider using an alternate durations for transitions of button pressed states
Last modified: 2014-07-01 15:47:33 UTC
From my brief use of gnome-themes-standard-git from the Arch User Repository, the thing that stood out the most to me was the (though attractive at first) somewhat long transition from the normal to pressed state. In my view it made interaction seem less responsive or immediate, due to the duration of the transition, and they began to be annoying to me. I propose two not necessarily mutually-exclusive options that *I* would feel remedy the problem: - Reduce the transition duration altogether - Use a shorter transition duration from normal to :active states, and a longer one from :active to normal Thank you for reading despite the possibly off-putting title
Button transitions have been removed, although I'm not sure if that was deliberate or a temporary measure.
