My system is archlinux the latest version.
Gnome-shell version is 3.12.2.
Like the attachment, some tray icon was disappear like guake, and some tray icon got different size like dropbox

Blow is my steps to reproduce:
1. turn on my compute and start archlinux(the lastest version);
2. login my account;
3. auto start dropbox;
4. run guake(a fullscreen terminal);
5. press combine key Win + M to show the tray bar;
6. then get the screen as the attachment.

Is the Guake icon ever displayed (no matter which size), or is it always empty/missing?

How to "start" Dropbox and where to get that application? Is that https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/dropbox ?
Downloading https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/dr/dropbox/dropbox.tar.gz and opening the file "dropbox.png", that PNG file has 100x107 pixels so should be sufficient, but no idea if it's actually used or picked up...

the Guake icon is always missing, never show.
and the dropbox package which I install is "https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/dr/dropbox/dropbox.tar.gz", and I have got "dropbox.png" at my "/usr/share/pixmaps"

I've been having the same issue for a long time now. This hasn't been resolved
in 3.14.2 yet. Screenshot attached.


OwnCloud, Steam and WhatPulse show small icons.
Dropbox and Guake are not shown.
Hexchat shows correct.

Dropbox, OwnCloud, Guake and WhatPulse autostart at login.
Hexchat and Steam do not.
