Description Flibigo 2014-05-09 08:54:35 UTC
When one enters a comment for a photo or a group of photos, this comment won't be "searchable" until Shotwell has been restarted and when you delete the comment after restart, the deleted comment stays still "searchable". Note I have saving comments in metadata activated.
Comment 1 Flibigo 2014-05-09 08:57:12 UTC
I have tested the problem with "saving comments in metadata DEactivated" and the bug persists.
Comment 2 Wolfgang Steitz 2015-02-10 19:25:39 UTC
I cannot reproduce this using the current development version.
Comment 3 Jim Nelson 2015-02-10 21:56:23 UTC
I can reproduce this if I add a comment and immediately search using Ctrl+F. Are you trying it with Saved Searches? That works for me.
Comment 4 Wolfgang Steitz 2015-02-10 22:36:44 UTC
You are right. Ctrl+F seems to be using a different code path to do the search.
Comment 5 Jens Georg 2016-08-12 12:08:52 UTC
Still valid with master
