Description romu 2014-05-06 14:49:56 UTC
Hi,
I think this bug report is somewhat similar to this one: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=709062

But I do hope this bug description is more accurate. If you plug an external monitor to a laptop, by default, Gnome chooses to put this new screen on the right of the laptop's one.

Now, change the arrangement, in my case, the laptop is on the right and the external monitor is the main screen.

Then, reboot the computer (this is what happens when I shutdown my laptop and then start it), at the GDM screen, the user screen arrangement is not taken into account, only the default one is (laptop is main and on the left).

Tested with Ubuntu Gnome 13.10 + Gnome 3.10 and Fedora 20.

This bug could be related?

Maybe should be generalised into bug 709062.
