GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 729299
Roman numerals in reports
Last modified: 2018-06-29 23:30:35 UTC
Created attachment 275510 [details] Part of report window Program is in Russian translation. Reports using Roman numerals instead of Arabic numerals.
Thank you for your report. There have been several reports of weird fonts being used on Windows. Sometimes the numbers go wrong, sometimes the other texts. Can you try either or both of the following: - Use the "Select Theme" tool which is installed together with GnuCash to change the default font used by GnuCash. - Alter the fonts in the stylesheet used by the report. You can find which style sheet is used in the report's options. The style sheet itself can be modified via Edit -> Style Sheets. Does either of these fix the display of numerals in your reports ?
I tried second way. I created new stylesheet "Reports" and changed default font "Sans" to "Segoe UI". And this helped.
Ok thanks. While your problem is solved now, I will keep this report open because too many users are reporting this issue. It appears something changed in the way either GnuCash or Windows handles the default "Sans" font. This should be investigated.
