Gnome shell displays the small version of the Transmission message tray icon After upgrading to Gnome 3.12 from 3.10.

I have the latest Transmission (www.transmissionbt.com) version installed and that packages was not changed since september.

The package provides larger icon sizes as well as a scalable svg icon, so my guess is that Gnome shell picks up the wrong icon. 

Every other message tray icon I came across was displayed in a corrent size. 

I'm using Gnome shell 3.12.1 with Arch Linux.

Just to say that this issue is noticeable also with other applications e.g.  guimup (a gtk2 mpd music player) and gnote

also for these apps  a small tray icon size is displayed

This bug has been seen affecting Banshee, Google Chrome, and Transmission. According to https://plus.google.com/116721900539166672875/posts/G6x27wgnoG8 it appears the issue is wide spread.
