In early versions, i can write and modify cells whit the search dialog open. But in this new version 1.12.9, I can't do anything. I work a lot with gnumeric and now it is a very big problem open and close all the time the search dialog to continue work in the sheet.

Can you pin-poin the last version that worked for you?

(1.12.9 isn't new, btw.  We're at 1.12.14 now; it does not work there.)

Fix in my tree.  Cannot commit from here.

This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.
