GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 728582
UTC Time Zone offset
Last modified: 2014-05-18 22:28:09 UTC
I am currently running Ubuntu 14.04. Using Evolution 3.10.4 with EWS to office365 Exchange server. When I create a Calendar entry it looks like it is the correct time (EST). But the invite is an hour off. I have change to use system time or set the time zone in Evolution but the result is the same. I have been doing a lot searching and realized that UTC-Offset time zone in Evolution for EST shows at -4 which should be -5. Can you please let me know if there is any way to correct this issue
What are your system settings for time zones, and what are your settings under "Edit > Preferences > Calendar and Tasks > General > Time > Time zone"?
Thank you so much for your help on this. The system is set at EST (America/New York). In Evolution time zone (Edit > Preferences > Calendar and Tasks > General > Time > Time zone I have tried it with America/New York as well as use system time zone I had the same result with both. As I mentioned when you go under Edit > Preferences > Calendar and Tasks > General > Time > Time zone try to look up the time America/New York is -4 UTC but it should be -5. Thanks
Any updates on this?
