And digging deeper into bonding, more useful term would be "Sdružení". For example in the configuration dialog, there is "Svázáná připojení", where "Sdružená připojení" would make more sense. Could you please revisit these dialogs?

Bridge - Czech term "síťový most" is commonly used. Even in the professional literature. I see no translation problem.


Bond - This one term is problematic. Bonding is Linux specific solution (similar team) for link aggregation. Network admin commonly know "trunking" (uses by device vendors) and they can be confused by term "bond" too. Terms for specific aggregation solutions are much more. "Svazek" is dictionary translation for "bond" and this is self-describing. But I understand this can be confusing (e.g. to "volume" = "svazek"). "Sdružení" may be variant too.

Team - Czech "tým" sounds like English [ti:m] and user should have no problem to understand.

On the other hand, "team" and "bond" are names for Linux proprietary solutions for general port/link aggregation. So that they can remain untranslated. I'm not sure. I'm going to duscuse it on Czech translators mailing list l10n.cz.

Is this still an issue? Quickly skimming the strings in the most visible UI and network settings, I haven't found these strings.

To be honest, I have never heard about any of "bond" or "team" terms. And giving the fact they are probably well hidden in the UI, I would have personally no objection having them completely untranslated. On the other hand you may try to consult with Fedora, openSUSE or KDE translation teams, if they have these terms in their strings too.

Yes this terms have been removed from GUI. So I'm closing this issue.
