Description freddi34 2014-03-17 11:08:55 UTC
In the input section, the dropdown option texts take too much space and are cropped. The dialog is not resizable, and even if it was I doubt it would help much. Most options combine several choices and this causes the long text and it requires careful scanning of the whole list.
I'd suggest using a different type of widget or a sub-section/sub-dialog.

By "input section" do you mean Typing?
Comment 2 Robert Roth 2014-10-04 19:46:12 UTC
Yes, the best example for this is the combo for in "Typing > Using space key to input non-breakable space character": you see several "Non-breakable space character at ... ", and several "Zero-width non-joiner at ... ", having no idea what is ellipsized.
