GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 725461
Renaming a folder with . (dot) keeps the folder visible and doesn't reflect the change
Last modified: 2014-03-31 00:08:36 UTC
Please see this video, here Untitled folder when named .themes doesn't change to .themes http://youtu.be/PKKi5hzuWW8?t=1m8s Also, make a folder, rename it with say the prefix '.' the folder still shows in the directory. This happens only when "Show Hidden" folders option is disabled. If we enable Show Hidden Folders, this bug will not happen. Expected Behavior: 1. Show the recently renamed ".folder" even when "Show Hidden files/folders" option is Disabled and till the user reloads/refreshes the directory.
this is also a 3.10 bug.
