Screenshop of Balance column

1 Create a new income account
2 Enter a fabulous income of 123456789
3 The Balance column will only show 456789.00 with a small part of the 3

Should these column not autosize or at least have *** in to indicate that not all is displayed?
Cannot make the Balance column larger by dragging the column separator.
Double clicking on the column separator does not widen the column the first time. Not moving the mouse and double clicking again finally does it!

This is probably a duplicate of Bug 563588.
Comment 2 AndristF 2014-02-11 08:10:10 UTC
Not too sure this is a duplicate. The income column can be easily resized by dragging the column separator. The problem is only with the last (Balance) column.
Comment 3 Geert Janssens 2014-02-11 20:02:35 UTC
Bug 563588 is covering all column resizing issues in the register. That the balance column is difficult to resize is one way this issue shows itself. So I agree with Mike this bug is a duplicate.

There was some work underway on a completely new register implementation which didn't have these odd resizing issues. But it didn't make it into 2.6 because it was not mature yet.
