As the documentation states , the horizontal scroll bar(for bookmarking and page sliding) doesn't appear on clicking anywhere on the document. However it appears when we bring up the message tray from the bottom and then click anywhere on the document.

OS = Fedora 20 (GNOME 3.10.2).
Arch = i386.
