Description Yosef Or Boczko 2014-01-27 11:36:11 UTC
AdBlock Plus is enable:
$ gsettings get org.gnome.Epiphany.web enable-adblock
true

However, I still see advertisements (Google advertisements, in start
of a video on YouTube, beside the video in YouTube, popup windows
and more advertisements in other webs).

Sometimes it work for a little time, but after more sometimes it again
doesn't work. this realy strange.

Next time this happens, check ~/.config/epiphany/filters.list. I discovered that mine was empty. Not sure why....

Workaround: copy the following into filters.list:

https://easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org/easylist.txt;

This is a duplicate of 697329, but Michael's tip above is valuable so I'll mention that there...
