The attached video demonstrates Nautilus being on crack :)

To reproduce, select multiple folders in your home directory and then Alt+Enter (or right-click -> Properties). On my laptop with a "slow" (not SSD) hard disk, the properties window shows the items count going up and resetting to zero periodically. The filesize total also seems to reset.

At some point I notice that the item & filesize "looping" seems endless, as no I/O happens anymore but the spinner goes on.

It looks like a bug in the backend - if not, it's a pretty confusing UI bug.
