Description Brian J. Murrell 2014-01-05 15:20:57 UTC
I have an LDAP addressbook which evolution can read from just fine but it won't allow me to create new entries or modify existing entries. The contact form is completely uneditable.

I do have access to that addressbook however as I can make modifications using a tool such as "GQ". I am positive that ldap* CLI tools would work just fine also.

This in fact seems to be happening for all of my LDAP addressbooks.

Thanks for a bug report. I can confirm this. The problem wasn't a late delivery of a read-only property, but missing notification on a change of supported fields, thus even the evolution knew it can write to the book, the editor saw that no elements are writeable.
