If you open Brasero by entering a command like "brasero /home/username/some_iso_file.iso" and then clicking on cancel, brasero process will still be alive.
Only the image burning dialog will be closed / hidden.

BTW.:
If you double click on an iso file in Nautilus, it's the same behaviour. I guess because Nautilus just executes the same command as described above...

Tested on RHEL 7 Beta and Debian 7.3 "Wheezy" stable (I think here it is Brasero 3.4.X).

Seems to be the same problem as reported in bug 679905.
Closed because of duplicate.
