Original description:

I have a memory card which contains a single empty directory: DCIM/117___10 .
(The card previously had a single photo, which I deleted.) When I select this
card in Shotwell, I see a message "Starting import, please wait...", which
never goes away. Instead I think Shotwell should display a message such as "No
photos" in this situation.

import: Improve messages on empty camera

Tell the user that the camera is considered empty instead of stating "Starting
import" forever.

Also, improve wording on no files to import because "hide already imported" is
active and no new files are available
