GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 718086
Easier sync via Ubuntu One
Last modified: 2013-05-01 06:46:00 UTC
---- Reported by shotwell-maint@gnome.bugs 2011-08-08 01:15:00 -0700 ---- Original Redmine bug id: 3958 Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/3958 Searchable id: yorba-bug-3958 Original author: kost BebIX Original description: Hi! I've set Ubuntu One to sync my photos dir, but I see that it doesn't sync anything like tags/metadata/etc. (well, I guess because they're stored in separate directory). It would be really nice to: 1. store photos data in some dir inside photos dir 2. make information to be stored in separate files or somehow else so that it would be easy to resolve conflicts (so that if two computers try to edit tags metadata it won't hurt the tags db). Maybe alternative solution would be to provide sync of data via Ubuntu One API (CouchDB whatever). Thank you!
