Description Sridhar Dhanapalan 2002-02-17 06:30:01 UTC
When the reload button is right-clicked, a menu appears. The first two
options (Reload all [tabs|windows]) work fine. The following three (Bypass
[cache|proxy|cache and proxy]) don't seem to work at all. Well, I'm not
sure about the "Bypass cache" option, since I'm not sure how to test it
properly.

At a guess, could this bug be related to <a
href="http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71735">bug 71735</a>?

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 71735 ***
Comment 2 Erich Schubert 2002-03-04 22:57:04 UTC
I fear i can still reproduce this bug.
Reload-bypassing-proxy doesn't work here, too.
And for some other user as well:
  http://bugs.debian.org/136450
with current galeon-1-2 checkout and mozilla 0.9.8
Comment 3 Erich Schubert 2002-03-05 00:20:39 UTC
please unmerge this bug with 71735, it's not a duplicate.
I think this might be mozilla-upstream, does it work for anyone? ;)
(maybe try using a filtering proxy, or a web server you can view the
log files...)
Comment 4 Philip Langdale 2002-04-22 22:35:21 UTC
solomon says he can confirm this bug on 1.2.1. It suggests to me that
this is a mozilla problem like the "whole word only" find bug where
an option exists in an interface but is not implmented in actuality.
Comment 5 Mark Howard 2003-02-24 14:10:11 UTC
This seems to be the case in the latest cvs code now that its been
reimplemented. I go to www.alkjdlasjdlasjd.com, get a proxy generated
page (domain not found) then click reload bypass cache and proxy (or
just proxy) and get the same page.
Comment 6 Crispin Flowerday (not receiving bugmail) 2003-10-25 16:59:15 UTC
Well, looking at the mozilla code, the API exists but doesn't seem to
be implemented, so this feature has gone.

-> FIXED (for some value of fixed :) )
