Description Wouter Bolsterlee (uws) 2013-11-24 19:38:20 UTC
The "open in terminal" feature is only accessible from the context menu when clicking in an empty area of the file list view. For large directories there are no empty spaces in the viewport, which means this feature is inaccessible in that case.

Having context menu only features is not desirable from a usability perspective, so I'd suggest also including the menu item in the global application menu.

Thanks for the bug report.

Nautilus doesn't feature any "Open in Terminal" action. The "Open in Termial" menu item comes from an extension and not from nautilus itself.

Setting that aside, it is true that the context menu is inaccessible on list view for directories with a large number of items. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.
