---- Reported by eric@yorba.org 2011-12-21 18:00:00 -0800 ----

Original Redmine bug id: 4524
Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/4524
Searchable id: yorba-bug-4524
Original author: Eric Gregory
Original description:

For some unknown reason, I found myself suddenly unable to access my test
email account. I enabled logging and noticed this gem:

> a001 NO [ALERT] Web login required:
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=78754 (Failure)

That page links you to a couple pages, one of which makes you enter your
password and the CAPTCHA to unlock your account. After that, it works with
Geary again.

How to reproduce it?
There are a number of situations which may lead to errors with Gmail login, depending on the Gmail account settings.

Related ticket: bug 775488

Probably want to keep this one - reproducing it might mean setting up a dummy IMAP session that returns this response and using that to make sure Geary handles it properly.

Another example of a session from a forum post about:

> . login jcho...@nyit.edu ******

Not really a duplicate, but a better write-up is here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/geary/issues/352

So marking as obsolete instead.
