GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 713223
Support XMPP / Jabber email headers
Last modified: 2018-10-28 22:25:57 UTC
---- Reported by jim@yorba.org 2013-05-13 12:24:00 -0700 ---- Original Redmine bug id: 6941 Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/6941 Searchable id: yorba-bug-6941 Original author: Jim Nelson Original description: Reported at https://bugs.launchpad.net/geary/+bug/1179532: Would be nice if Geary could automatically add the XMPP address to the email headers (should be extractable from Ubuntu Online Accounts) and also extract the XMPP address of received messages to show online-status of the contacts. This would also integrate with Google Talk, which uses XMPP too. More infos on the XMPP Email Header can be found here: http://wiki.xmpp.org/web/Jabber_Email_Header --- Bug imported by chaz@yorba.org 2013-11-21 20:19 UTC --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 6941 at http://redmine.yorba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6941 Unknown version " in product geary. Setting version to "!unspecified". Unknown milestone "unknown in product geary. Setting to default milestone for this product, "---". Setting qa contact to the default for this product. This bug either had no qa contact or an invalid one. Resolution set on an open status. Dropping resolution
This would be a a good candidate for a plugin.
I just wrote up a tracking bug for the plugin system over at gitlab that collects all of the requirements for feature requests that should be implemented as plugins in the one place, so closing this bug in favour of that ticket: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/geary/issues/155
