Original description:

Geary silently ignores SMTP connection errors. Nothing is displayed or shown
to the user when a message wasn't sent.

Since this is related to #5281, this seems like it should go on the 0.2
milestone.

I think this is really a special case of #5281, which we've deferred to the
next release, so I think we should probably defer this too. Now that we have
an Outbox, at least messages will not be lost if the SMTP connection fails and
the user exits Geary.
