Description litter 2013-11-19 00:42:57 UTC
After doing a clean, custom install of GIMP 2.8.8 on Windows XP, with Python support set to enabled, running GIMP will NOT show a Python-Fu menu entry under Filters. A Script-Fu menu entry is present.

I tried many, many, many things to try to solve this, but not a hint on what could be wrong, no error message, no logging, no nothing. WHY IS THIS SILENTLY FAILING???? It's driving me nuts.

This could be bug 711718.

Tried same remedy as bug 711718. I can confirm that copying pygimp.env from another source into lib\gimp\2.0\environ\ did solve this problem.
