GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 711474
No network indicator when connected to wire & wifi
Last modified: 2013-11-05 14:07:51 UTC
When connected by wire and wifi, the panel doesn't have any network icon. Looking at the current issues, I've found https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=708966 , but it does seem a bit different. Also the design (https://wiki.gnome.org/GnomeShell/Design/Guidelines/SystemStatus/) doesn't seem to describe that scenario, so I'm not sure what should happen...

When connected to both wired and wi-fi, your default route is probably wired if you're using the standard NetworkManager configuration. Thus, we behave as if you were on wired.
