GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 71063
headers pane not updated when thread is expanded
Last modified: 2006-05-04 16:22:24 UTC
Look for a group with a set of threads with replies near the end of the list. Use the 'n' key to read the messages so that the thread expands, and scrolls of the bottom. Pan will not keep the current article header in the visible area of the headers pane (it will be off the bottom). Keep hitting 'n' and Pan will soon reach the end of the headers and start again from the beginning, without the reader's knowledge...

This seems to be a bug in gtk+-1.2. Since we're porting to gtk2 in 0.12, I'm targetting this bug for that release.
0.11.91, which uses gtk2-2.0.2, seems to have the same problem. Most likely because we're still using GtkCTree.
let's punt gtktreeview until 0.12.1
moving feature requests to 0.13.0. 0.12.x releases will be used for bugfixes.
This is post-0.13.0, probably 0.14.0
Ping! Since I recently upgraded to Pan 0.13.3, I'm testing some old bugs, and this one still seems to be present.
since we're not going to the gtktreeview widget in the header pane any time soon, maybe this warrants another look in the near future. No promises.
Mass-bumping of 0.14.2 features to 0.14.3 to make way for an emergency 0.14.2 release.

0.9x uses the GtkTreeView widget.
