When I start Eclipse and I want to edit a file and the auto fillment pop up
eclipse crashes.

This has been tested in oracle jdk1.7.0_40 and libsoup2.44 compiled from source.

The patch was posted by twied <twied@gmx.net> on debian BTS and I can confirm it resolves the bug in 2.44

No one should ever be passing NULL to those functions. This is either an Eclipse bug, or else the bug is actually somewhere else in libsoup.

Can you get a full backtrace of the crash?

Sorry for wasting your time, Dan, my google-fu has failed this time. I't seems that the pacht wasn't ported to Juno, so even I had updated my installation, the bug was still present.
