Description felicia 2013-10-04 11:20:44 UTC
I have evince embedded with mozplugger. This works fine, however, evince doesn't accept any keyboard input. This is annoying when trying to use the search functionality.

System details:
Debian Jessie
Chromium 29.0.1547.57
Mozplugger 1.14.5-2
Evince 3.8.3-2
Comment 1 Christian Persch 2013-10-04 14:50:53 UTC
It's obviously *not* 'working fine' :-)

Note that this use case is not supported, so I don't think this will be fixed (if it even is a bug in evince as opposed to mozplugger) unless you provide a patch.
Comment 2 felicia 2013-10-04 15:01:49 UTC
So you're basically saying that using evince embedded in a browser is not a use case which should be supported?
Comment 3 Christian Persch 2013-10-04 16:10:08 UTC
Yes. Otherwise we'd supply a browser plugin (bug 168933).
