This is not for 3.10, it depends on new glib API in bug 708828, but I was discussing this with Jasper and it came up in IRC again today.

did this break at some point ? In 3.19, I see gnome-calendar, epiphany-search-provider and org.gnome.Characters.BackgroundService running right after login
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org. As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).
