Description Olivier Lecarme 2013-09-17 07:29:48 UTC
I'm building covers for a set of five books. Each cover contains an image and some text, i.e. the book title and its author's name.

The covers are OK for me when I look at them inside GIMP, and when I export them to JPEG or to PNG. But two of them are incorrect when I export them to PDF.

In one cover, the only error is that the first two letters of the author's name are set in body smaller than the intended one.

In the other cover, the author's name is set on two lines instead of only one, the book title is set higher in the page as desired, and the third line of this title is missing.

The covers can be seen at this address: http://olecarme.homelinux.net/Livres/

The offending covers are "CahierRouge" (the worse one) and "Irene".

Which font is used?
Comment 2 Olivier Lecarme 2013-09-17 09:16:42 UTC
Advira Bold

The same font for all the five covers.
