GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 707336
"Back" button and shortcut for the Evince interface
Last modified: 2018-05-22 15:16:38 UTC
Note: I'm not talking about the buttons to move Fwd/Bkwd by 1 page. When one clicks on a PDF internal link (eg: citation, or reference to a figure/table) the document might scroll down multiple pages. It would be nice to have a way to get it back to the position at which you were reading, before you clicked the internal link -- like the back button on a web browser.
Related to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=509029 If calling it the "back" button might confuse some users, then maybe it could be called the "undo position" button. Even if it's not on the taskbar by default, this is a much needed feature.
