Description the5dangers 2013-08-31 15:40:39 UTC
I've recently switched from Windows to Linux Mint 15, so I've imported my music library from iTunes to Rhythmbox. All went right, but now, when I write a comment for any song, the comment is there while Rhythmbox is running but when I close and open it again all the comments that I wrote before, dissapear. The rest of song comments that were wrote on iTunes and after imported to Rhythmbox don't dissapear but I can't write new comments to any song. I don't think that it matters but in case of yes, I have all my song files in a different partition of the one which Rhythmbox is installed.

I like Rhythmbox and I don't want to have to change to other music player because of this. Is there any way to solve it?

commit 9a4214b fixed this

I've updated to the last version (2.99.1) and the problem is still here: I open Rhythmbox, I write a comment for any song, then I close Rythmbox and when I open it again the comment that I've wrote has disappeared.

The fix was not in 2.99.1. You willl have to wait until your distribution makes a package for 3.0 available.
