GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 706951
Banshee crashes upon startup
Last modified: 2016-10-05 02:44:33 UTC
Created attachment 253339 [details] banshee log Banshee opened just fine initially. When I changed the music library to my external USB HD, Banshee scanned it, found music and covers but then just closes. Running Banshee as Sudo from a terminal does not reproduce this error.
Can you test: - With Banshee 2.6.1. - With Bits Per Minute detection disabled. Thanks
With Banshiee 2.6.1 on Ubuntu 13.10, error still occurs as it was described.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version of SoundTouch (1.7.1-5), a library which Banshee depends on, for BPM functionality. You may want to check for a software upgrade. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 722551 ***
