Description Yanko Kaneti 2013-07-29 14:03:54 UTC
Since the move to GtkApplication accelerators, certain console key combos that used to work before stopped. Namely the Alt-{n} window switching in irssi when there are no tabs in the current terminal window.

From my armchair I see two options.
- Disable *-tab actions whenever there is only on active terminal in the window.
- Teach gtkapp accelerators how to avoid activating an action and returning the keys to the app in certain conditions , say a g-t profile setting.

Since gnome-terminal 3.12 has been released, this bug affects me as well. I often used Alt+[0-9] in combination with irssi in a remote tmux session to switch windows. This no longer works and it is rather annoying. Could this functionality be restored?

This person [1] has the same problem. His workaround is probably not very useful though, since that breaks the other half of my use cases. ;)
