As you can see in screenshot, it's hard to use with the size it's opened, but maximizing it doesn't help and left column keeps not being completely shown

I get this one too, using the English locale.
Tested under OSTree.

This was an artifact due to having the [Current][All books] filter buttons; which got removed in git master now; see bug 707608.

Will close it as duplicate of that bug, but let us know if you still experience the issue with git master.
