GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 703773
Wallpaper disappears after disabling a display
Last modified: 2013-07-08 17:14:34 UTC
Created attachment 248592 [details] initial layout (both displays on) I have a notebook with an external display attached. If I disable my laptop screen, the wallpaper disappears and I see only blue background. If I re-enable my laptop display, the wallpaper is back. The problem only occurs in the existing session. If I log out (while having just a single display) and log back in, the blue background is replaced by the wallpaper. gnome-shell-3.8.3-3.fc19.x86_64

I have seen this problem on several laptops. I'm not sure whether the reproducer was the same in those cases, but the problem definitely exists and can be triggered easily.
