Description kirilesky 2013-06-12 14:45:01 UTC
Can't set zoom level to 167% in GUI.
Only 150% and 175% available inside toolbar drop-down list.
Need "Custom zoom ..." item and Ctrl+MouseWheel for change zoom with small step.

Thanks for taking the time to file this bug. The custom zoom is obsolete as in 3.8 you can set the zoom to whatever you want. Thus, I change the title of the bug so we can track the request "Ctrl + MouseWheel for change zoom with small step" as it makes more sense.

Control+mousewheel already zooms - so this bug doesn't make much sense. This behavior was apparently there since 2005.

(It zooms with fairly big steps unless you have a continuous scroll wheel.) So I don't think there's anything to do there.

It might be possible to add Control-Shift+mousewheel for fine steps, but that seems so obscure that nobody would find it.
