Description Trever Adams 2002-01-31 08:47:59 UTC
Package: bug-buddy
Severity: normal
Version: 2.1.2
Synopsis: Reports get chopped if you use evolution
Bugzilla-Product: bug-buddy
Bugzilla-Component: general

Description:
Description of Problem:

My default mailer is evolution. If bug-buddy uses it to send a bug
report over half of it gets chopped and the trace back is never sent.
However, if I tell it to use sendmail directly, all works just fine.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Make a report
2. Send with evolution
3. See how badly it is chopped up and missing info.

Actual Results:

Information in the report is lost

Expected Results:

Everything should be sent just fine.

How often does this happen?

Every time

ok, this is basically a UNIX limitation being hit.

i guess i have to remove the external mailer feature, or need some way
to spawn mailers with a file as the body.
Comment 2 jacob berkman 2002-02-01 22:22:07 UTC
i've disabled the external mailer support.
