GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 701435
Price editor shows updated prices in integer fraction form
Last modified: 2018-06-29 23:16:48 UTC
Mortals like myself find it very difficult to understand what 11 + 80000/333333 means in USD. The price editor used to convert downloaded prices for display to decimal form (They probably came in in decimal form in the first place). In release 2.5.2 it now shows downloaded prices in integer fraction form. As I recall, there used to be a bug report about prices calculated by GnuCash for purchase or sale transactions also being displayed in integer fraction form, and/or not even recording prices associated to actual transactions. If such bugs exist they could be referenced here as possibly being related.
