Motherboard: Abit KG7raid Distribution: RH7.0 (fully patched via red-carpet & up2date) Mouse: USB iFeel MouseMan (3 button) Kernel: 2.2.19-7.0.12 If I login as root all is well, if I login as joe user, I dont get as far as the menus appearing, though the background and trashcan have (crash is somewhere in 'panel') indicating a permission problem somwhere.... andy.
