Description Thorsten Hirsch 2013-04-27 08:58:04 UTC
As soon as I set...

org.gnome.desktop.background show-desktop-icons true

...my wallpaper disappears in the same moment as the desktop icons appear. The background is just grey. When setting to false the wallpaper is back again. I reproduced this problem with a new user. To change the setting I used dconf-editor.

Which gtk+ theme are you using?

Which distribution are you using? If it is Ubuntu 13.04, are you using the GNOME 3 PPA?
Comment 2 Thorsten Hirsch 2013-04-27 10:13:03 UTC
gtk+ theme: radiance (but I also switched to some others and it had no influence on the problem)

OS: Ubuntu 13.04
Gnome: 3.8 from Gnome 3 PPA
