GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 698251
Add a toggle-overview keybinding
Last modified: 2013-04-19 03:09:53 UTC
This is a new, regular keybinding for going to the overview. The default binding is Super-S, which goes well with Super-A for going to the application grid. This is separate from the existing panel-main-menu keybinding, so that we can keep Alt-F1 opening the main menu in classic mode.

Review of attachment 241783 [details] [review]: Mmmh, I wonder whether the new keybinding should actually be more like <Super>A, e.g. toggle the window picker rather than the entire overview (otoh, not sure how that should work in practice from the window picker itself). However regardless of that, we should make the keybinding configurable in the shortcut panel (e.g. add it to data/50-gnome-shell-system.xml.in).
