GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 69825
Instant crash on opening tool settings.
Last modified: 2009-08-15 18:40:50 UTC
As soon as I double-click on a tool to change the settings I get an instant crash. Example: double-click on the 'rubber', set hard edges, close, click on 'pencil', CRASH Everytime. Error Message: LibGimp-WARNING **: script-fu: wire_read: unexpected EOF Segmentation Fault --Michael
This certainly is an installation problem or a broken GTK+ theme or anything else special to your setup. To be able to help you we need more information about your system, what version of GTK+ you use, how GIMP, GTK+ and friends have been installed (packages, from source?). Do you use a GTK+ theme (lots of broken themes out there...)?
I run Mandrake 8.0 and I checked all the gtk packages: gdk-pixbuf-0.10.1-1mdk was the bad boy (seems to contain a buggy theme). Thanks!
