Description Jakub Steiner 2013-03-13 12:26:08 UTC
When adding a new location, the grid view updates with the location having a view-refresh icon, before the data arrives. I suggest using a small spinner (16x16 or 22x22) in its place.

I could provide a specific icon similar to the network or IM transitional states if this is hard to achieve.

This is hard to achieve with GdMainView, but pbor had a plan to switch to EggFlowBox instead, which would make it easier.
Not happening soon, though.
Comment 2 Giovanni Campagna 2013-03-13 17:47:29 UTC
For the record, bug 695735 is about using EggFlowBox.
Comment 3 Matthias Clasen 2013-09-03 12:11:46 UTC
so I guess this is blocked on the flowbox port, and thus won't happen for 3.10
Comment 4 Giovanni Campagna 2014-08-27 14:22:55 UTC
The new design removed the grid world view, so closing.
